We are looking for a QUALITY LABORATORY TECHNICIAN, to strengthen the Quality Team. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out all needed laboratory tests, in relation to the development of new products, the approval of samples from suppliers and the analysis/repair of products returned from the market due to presumed malfunctioning.

Main Activities:

• Carry out and analyze laboratory tests (lifetime, breakage, noise…) on products according to established protocols and draw up consequent supporting documentation;
• Supervise analysis, monitoring and testing equipment, ensuring that all systems function properly;
• Track and appropriately record testing and validation activities;
• Use appropriate methodologies and instruments to carry out the tests, in accordance with the quality control sheet;
• Measure and check sample lots and/or samples from suppliers during the material acceptance phase;
• Analyze, repair and manage according to procedure (RMA), products returned from the market with presumed malfunctions;
• Carry out technical inspections of construction sites upon request.

Requirements:

• Diploma in a technical field (preferably electrical engineering or similar study courses)
• Knowledge of the English language is preferable, but not mandatory
• Previous experience of 2/3 years in similar roles or as an electrician/installation engineer is preferable
• Ability to read and interpret a technical drawing
• Knowledge of the reference product regulations in the mechanical and electronic fields
• Preferable, but not mandatory, is knowledge of preventive analysis and experimentation techniques to guarantee the reliability of a project, product, process (for example FMEA, DOE, etc.)
• Knowledge of electrical diagrams, ability to debug electronic boards
• Ability to use IT tools
• Familiarity with various management software programs (knowledge of SAP preferred)
