We we are looking for an ICT Assistant in order to improve the IT Department. The candidate must be able to manage the daily operations of the IT Department; specifically, he/she will be responsible for:
Main activities and responsibilities:
- Installation, configuration, customisation, maintenance and management of company tools, consisting of PCs, notebooks, printers, telephones, smartphones, and related operating systems, programs and applications;
- Provide assistance to colleagues who encounter IT problems;
- Update the company assets and inventory, taking care of any documentation;
- Support the development of new technologies and ensure any updates/revisions of the system;
- Support the development of the company network and IT security tools.
Requirements:
- Diploma in IT field
- Good knowledge of the English language
- At least 1/2 years of experience in similar positions
- Ability and autonomy in installing personal computers, configuring user profiles, programs, network cabling
- Familiarity with PC hardware, local and network printers and mobile phone devices (iOS, Android)
- Good propensity for problem solving in relation to daily cases
- Ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensive and professional manner
- Good ethics relating to computer security issues
- Knowledge of the Office package
- Basic knowledge of networks and networking: understand the basic concepts of networks, communication protocols, IP addressing and router/switch/access point configuration
